The digital revolution of the 21st century is a fact and we can either grow with it, or be passively absorbed by it. Klaus Schwab describes the fourth digital revolution as "a fusion of technologies that is blurring the lines between the physical, digital, and biological spheres". Service Management represented by many methodologies and approaches such as ITIL® v.3 and 4, VeriSM®, e-Tom, ISO20000, BS15000, Agile Service Management, as well as emerging technologies: Cloud Computing, AI, BYOD, Machine Learning, influences the digital revolution. An example is Service Value System at ITIL®4 or Management Mesh at VeriSM®. Nothing that brings value to our customers will not matter during the fourth revolution.
