AI-Empowered SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) is a team-based servant leader and coach who helps teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver value via effective Agile practices, leveraging AI tools to enhance team productivity and decision-making.

The Scrum Master supports and coaches the Scrum process and other processes that the team has agreed upon, acting as a Team Coach to improve Flow. They also help the team coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) and use AI-driven insights to communicate status and blockers to management effectively.

Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the fundamentals of team-level Scrum, the AI-Empowered SAFe® Scrum Master course explores the role in the context of the entire enterprise and prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI). It teaches how to use AI-native tools (like SAFe CoPilot) to maintain alignment and accelerate delivery throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.

This includes learning the key components of Agile at scale development, how Scrum is facilitated throughout the enterprise, and how to execute Iteration Planning while integrating AI to refine backlogs and optimize iteration execution.
