Basic knowledge and understanding of COBIT® 5 guidance, principles and models.
The COBIT® 5 Foundation training is fully accredited by PeopleCert on behalf of ISACA.
Accredited training with a qualified trainer, accredited training materials and a voucher for an accredited exam.
Online training for COBIT® 5 Foundation course lasts two and a half days and the examination takes place at the end or after the training.
COBIT® 5 is aimed at organisations of all sizes and sectors. It is ideal for professionals involved in assurance, security, risk, privacy and compliance, business leaders and stakeholders involved in or affected by governance and management of IT systems.
No mandatory prerequisites although some experience in IT or related fields is recommended.
In order to book your exam, you need an Exam Code, which you will receive by email from PeopleCert during or after the course. This is dictated by when you pay for the training. Once you receive the Exam Code go to peoplecert.org/login, create an account and you will be prompted to enter your Exam Code in order to book your exam. Book your exam with the most suitable date and time.
Candidates with Windows operating systems can find a step by step guide on how to take an Online exam HERE, while candidates with MacOs can find the relevant guide HERE.
Preliminary results are automatically issued upon exam completion and are available on your computer screen. You have the option to save them as an HTML or PDF file on your computer and keep them until the official results are issued. According to PeopleCert policy, official results are issued within 2 business days from the date your answers are submitted.
You can give the exam as many times as you want. Every attempt is payable.
You will receive an online certificate. The certificate will be uploaded on your PeopleCert account.
COBIT® 5 Foundation certificate is valid indefinitely.
